Nexo Apex S.L. (Spanish tax ID B55467146) is a Spanish limited liability company registered in El Vendrell (Tarragona, Catalonia). We operate as a pure-online business — no physical store, no walk-in service: everything happens through cuentoconlaIA.com and our digital channels.

The founder
David Pelayo is the founder of Nexo Apex S.L. and the person behind cuentoconlaIA.com. Software engineer by training, he's spent fifteen+ years building products and platforms — both in-company and as an independent. He lives in Tarragona with his family.
cuentoconlaIA.com started while watching the Artemis II launch with his kid, riffing on what it'd be like if his stuffed toy Buli were the zero-gravity indicator instead of Rise. That bedtime conversation turned into a side project, and then into this small product.

Why this site exists
There are plenty of ways to make a children's book. What sets ours apart, in our opinion:
- Pay-per-book, no subscription. €3.99 for a full 20-page book. We don't want a recurring business for something that's typically bought for a birthday or a single bedtime.
- Character consistency. Your kid has to recognise themselves on every one of the 20 pages — if faces drift, the product fails. We document how we get there on the methodology page.
- Built from Spain, hosted in Europe. All processing runs on European infrastructure (Frankfurt, AWS). Photos are auto-deleted after 30 days by policy AND by architecture.
- Real legal coverage. GDPR, LSSI-CE, LOPDGDD, AEPD 2024, EU AI Act Art. 50. The legal pages match exactly what the system does.
Editorial commitment
The creations are AI-generated, which means they can get things wrong: a hand with six fingers, a slightly off rocket, an awkward smile. We always label the output as AI-generated content (Art. 50 of EU Regulation 2024/1689) and run image moderation (AWS Rekognition) before any kid sees it. If something feels off, write us and we'll refund it.
